Privacy Policy

Your birth data

All birth chart calculations run entirely in your browser using WebAssembly. When you use MyEphemeris without an account, your birth data is stored only in your browser's local storage and never transmitted to our servers.

If you create an account, your birth data is stored in our database to enable cross-device access and features like pattern tracking. Your data is never sold, shared with, or disclosed to third parties.

AI interactions

When you use the Oracle or request a daily briefing, your chart data and current planetary positions are sent to Anthropic's API to generate responses. This data is used only to generate your reading and is not stored by the AI provider beyond the duration of the request, per Anthropic's API data policy.

Check-in data

Daily check-ins (mood, energy, sleep, etc.) are stored locally in your browser. If you have an account, check-ins sync to our database for pattern analysis. This data is used only to compute your personal correlations and is never shared.

Payments

Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your credit card number. Stripe's privacy policy governs payment data handling.

Analytics

We use Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights to understand how the app performs. These collect anonymous usage data (page views, load times) without personally identifying you.

Data deletion

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us. Local browser data can be cleared through your browser settings.
